I started a daily hand lettering project where I use my page-a-day calendar to illustrate the words... visually. For example, I take a word like grumpy and make it look, well, grumpy. My vocabulary could be expanded, so this is an opportunity for me to learn new words and keep my hands busy doodling. A Loss for Words will run simultaneously with #The100DaysProject.
Emblazon: verb; 1. to conspicuously inscribe or display a design on something 2. to depict a heraldic device.
When I began looking for shared housing in San Francisco, I struggled to get a call back any Craigslist posting. In order to stand out from the countless other women in their mid 20s working in tech and design, I created an infographic resume that brought color and personality to a boring old email message. On my first submission, I got the apartment (and roommates) of my dreams in Cole Valley.
Currently, I like to help others who can't get beyond the "tell us about yourself" stage in a CL listing.
